- This is a metal plate that takes a direct reading of the pressure as it is applied to the cheese. The table where you take your own measurements that is supplied with the press is not needed.
- 120mm long x 20mm wide x 2mm thick.
- Measuring scale in 5kg equal increments from 0kg to 40kg. 0 kg is nil pressure and 40kg is the maximum pressure
- The plate is made of aluminium and is laser engraved
- It can be screwed onto the top follower or handheld against the top follower when pressing. I prefer to hold the plate against the follower once I start pressing the cheese.
